Client: Large Chemical Company

Project Description: The client commissioned B-CAD to provide a comprehensive Intergraph CAD drawing encompassing all above ground and buried utilities such as chilled water, steam and condensate, communications, storm water, fire protection, electric, etc., throughout their 800 acre site. All services were individually identified, color coded, and separated into approximately 30 layers. Information was accumulated from aerial photography, engineering drawings, and field sketches.

In order to manage multiple layers, Brandywine CAD developed an on-screen, side bar menu system to toggle individual utilities on and off by one "quick-pick". With this menu system, active layers are readily apparent, and preparation for a plot using any combination of these layers is easily accomplished.

Updating and maintaining this plan has been a continuing endeavor and has occurred concurrently with over 50 other non-related projects for the same client. The other projects involve mostly renovation of research laboratory spaces. Brandywine CAD's involvement typically requires assisting the engineer and architect prepare the contract bid documents for construction of these spaces.

This client continues to express their confidence and commitment in Brandywine CAD Design as they have recently issued us an annual purchase order for the tenth consecutive year.
